This SmallHD Backplate for 702 Touch & Cine 7 is a cover that protects the electrical contacts of your monitor. This backplate installs in place of an optional battery plate and is useful when you power your 702 Touch or Cine 7 monitor from the power connection. In addition to protecting your monitor’s electronic connections, preventing damage or shorting, the backplate weighs about 4.25 ounces, which is about one third the weight of an optional battery plate (without batteries).
